3D Mapping program

Last updated 14th July 2002

If you have access to a flat-bed scanner, you can use this program to create and view your own 3D maps. This program allows you to trace over the contours on a scanned topo map with your mouse, assign altitude values to each contour and then render the result in 3D. You can rotate the 3D version in all directions.

This is a prototype version only and has limited functionality. I have included some example contour files here so that you don't need to scan your own topo map in to see this program working. Just download the EXE and the example files and you're away. Look at the README.TXT file for more help.
