BushMap (version 1.01)

What it does...

This java applet provides modes to allow you to draw bushwalking sketch maps. You can see a real example of this here.

How to use it...

Select a mode at the top and then use mouse to draw. The Label mode will pop up a dialog box to let you enter a label. To place the label, click on the map.

To erase the map and start again, press the "CLEAR" button 3 times. To make corrections, use the undo button.

Note: The "Save" and "Load" buttons will not work due to applet security restrictions, so save your map using "snapshot" (under SunOs) or an equivalent screen capture tool. Alternatively, download the jar file, expand it with the command "jar xf BushMap1.jar", and run it as a Java application on your own computer. Also note that the print button requires Java 1.1 or later to work.
